    Hello Drok,

I am using a SIN9020S for measuring solar charging and LED light discharging on a 12V 45AH Lithium battery.

When discharging the the batteyr at 1.0A the AH and WH meters (with no charging) indicate a + value that increases as the battery discharges until dead.

When charging with solar and (no load) the AH and WH meters indicate a + value that decreases as the battery is charged. When the AH and WH reach zero the value remains unchanged at zero even though the battery continures to be charged to full potential.

In all operations the % of battery charge indicator displays 0% or 100%. Never a partial value.

    Is this normal operation?

The paper sent with the unit says in Main Characteristics 8 that “Online calibration enables users to correct the error promptly.” Where can I find the instructions for calibration?

    Thanks Philip

    Hello Philip Buck,

The item you mean should be #200320,  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081C6CYX7/ref=as_li_tl?tag=proeng-20

    1. Please check the direction of OUT arrow. If it points to left, that is charging status, both of AH and wh reading increase. When pointing to the right, that is discharging. Wh reading is as what you said,  it remains unchanged when decrease to 0.

If direction of arrow are not correct, please kindly check whether connection is reversed.

    2. About battery level indicator, it only work normaly when you set OAH parameters.
Capacity percentage =((actual AH value /setting AH value)*100%).

When you need to zero AH data or maximize it,please refer to ” AH value  and time clear function ” instruction.

    3.  If there are no error on votlage or current reading, it is not necesary to calibrate it.

For any more questions, please let us know.

    Best regards.
