Just received new 200150 converter & tested it: Output is at input voltage while output is turned off. Adjusting voltage and/or turning output on/off has no effect.

Input is 37.54VDC, Voltage is set at 9V, output OFF =output 37.2VDC

This 200150 replaced a 200150 which worked for a while before it also sent input voltage to the output and burned up my Dragon VP4 Plus (~$100.oo to replace). That 200150 was returned to Amazon to get this one…

    Very disappointing situation…

    Hello Fred,

Thanks for writing in and sorry for that.

You mention  output is set as 9V, but this is a boost converter. If input is 37.54v, output must be higher than input.

Have you try to boost voltage?

If you can, would you please tell us more details about your operation? It would be appreicat if you can show that by images or video, we can check it carefully.

    Best regards.

    Hello Drok and Fred,

What Fred is saying, when power is supplied to the boost converter and the output is still off, you have a voltage out of the output which is the same as the input voltage. With the boost converter output off there should be no power at the output. I burnt out a couple of 6 volt lights because the output was to high with the output off. Is there away to have the output off with zero volts?

    thanks

    Goofynascar

    Hello Goofynascar,

Thanks for writing in. Output off doesn’t mean votltage is zero,  it just stop drawing current.

If output voltage has influence on load when output off, it is better to disconnect load.

    Best regards.

Dear Support. I bougth a Drok SKU200150 Boost unit some months ago on AliExpress. I unexpectedly  overloaded the module and then, the power mosfet completely exploded . I want to change it to repair the module but the mosfet reference is not readable anymore. Could you please indicate the mosfet reference (or an equivalent) built on the SKU200150? Thank you in advance. Regards.
