DROK® 0.56″ Digital Tachometer Gauge RPM Speed Measure Gauge Meter DC7~30V Tester Velocimeter 60-9999 RPM with Green Display

    Hi,
I am wondering if there is a way to set pulses per revolution for this display.
    Thanks for the help!

    Hello Paul Lancaster,
    Thank you for writing in.
    Yes, it can.
As the following image shown, there is two solder joints which are marked by yellow arrow and red arrow, yellow for “increase value” and red for “decrease value”. When you adjust the value, you need to use a thin conductor, i.e.thin wire, tweezers. One side of the conductor is connected to the negative side of the power supply and the other side is shorted to the corresponding joints. At the same time, observing the value displayed on the display.
Shorting for about 2 seconds, the display will display the current speed override. The display will display “1.00” in default, which means one pulse signal represent one revolution. If you want to adjust the value of the pulse for one revolution, you need to short the “increase value” joint or the “decrease value” joint to increase/decrease the value to you need.

    Hope this can help you.
    Best regards

Are the incremental adjustments 1.00? Or some other value, such as 0.50 or 0.25?
    Thanks again.

Through testing this out it seems that the yellow actually decreases the value, and the red seems to not function at all.
    Please advise.

OK. So after some further testing, I was able to determine that the yellow terminal in the image does actually lower the factor for pulses per 1 rpm. To raise the factor there is another terminal to the right of the red wire in the image.
My goal was to install this on an engine that pulses 4 times per revolution. My factor is set at 0.25 and the reading is correct and stable withing a few whole numbers.
    Loving this product!
