A geologist I met once said the exciting drill results were only the beginning, because the team still needed resource modelling, feasibility work, permits, funding, and infrastructure. That conversation made me want to understand how each decision reduces risk before construction starts.

A geologist once showed me two drill cores that looked almost identical, but one project had better metallurgy and much easier access to power, so it moved ahead while the other stalled. That really drove home how many pieces have to line up. I also found Canadian market information useful for some real-world context. It adds an interesting leadership angle to the technical side.

The drill-core story is a good reminder that two promising deposits can have completely different futures once metallurgy, power and infrastructure enter the picture. I’ve also found Canadian market information helpful for putting the business side into perspective. It makes the technical story easier to understand when you can see how financing, leadership and market conditions influence the decisions behind a project.
