    Hi,

    In the manual it says:

    (9) “CER” current return function. If the actual current value is zero and the
instrument display value is not zero, move the cursor to this option and press OK to
    zero the current.”

I have tried it several times. I have another instrument that reads 0.5 amp but the VAC8010F still reads zero, so it is always at least 0.5 amp behind the use. I have tried to disconnect the cable where the hall connector is place to make sure that no current is flowing and tried to reset it again.

Does one need to hold the ok for a specific duration or is there another way to make sure that it will be reset.

    Best regards

    Hello Søren Laursen,

Do you mean when connect your instrument to our item, the current reading is zero?

Please kindly notice “CER” is  for no-load current reset. That is to say, when there is not load current, reading is stil not 0. Only in  that case, you can reset it. And you need to operate it under no load.

Any more questions, please kindly contact us.

    Best regards.
