Hi, I just bought the DROK Adjustable Buck Converter Step Down Voltage Regulator 6V-32V 30V 24V 12V to 1.5-32V 5V 5A LCD Power Supply Volt Reducer Transformer Module Board with USB Port Protective Case. I want to use it on a sailboat that is powered by solar to step down to 5v for a Raspberry Pi. My concern is that the solar power is regulated and fluctuates all day between 12.5 and 14.4. Will this be an issue for the unit I purchased? Thanks in advance.
Hello Kimberly,
Please check if it is below item.

As long as input voltage is higher than pre-set voltage and doesn’t fluctuate frequently, it can offer stable output.
For any more questions, please let us know.
Best regards,
DROK

If I have the preset voltage set for 12 volts and it fluctuates during the day when I’m charging between 12.2 and 14.4 volts is that going to be a problem? Usually it takes most of the day to slowly ramp up to 14.1-14.4 volts so it would be a steady incline, but as soon as a cloud passes over it will drop and then climb. Some days this could be frequent. Is there maybe another product that might fit my needs better?
Thanks in advance for your help!
