Instead of short the leads of the multimeter, actually what we hope you can short the output ports with lead wire directly. Did you try that?

For this item, please refer to below calibrated operations.
1. Disconnect power supply.
2. Connecting power supply (20V/1A) and load. (It must be 20V/1A)
3. Short connect two calibrating spots (Open the back cover, you can find two holes which marked with “W” on board)
1. Turn on the power supply.
2. When the display changed from “CAL—“ into” —PASS”, that means the calibration is finished.

Did you short the multimeter probes with alligator clip? From this picture, we are sorry it is hard to confirm if output is shorted.

Besides that way, can you short the output with heavy lead wire and then adjust current?

Are you taling about #2001712003 meter？If it indicated”FFF”, that mean current is out of measuring range.

How much current did you input?

Regarding CC status, we want to explain how it work. Actual output current is mainly decided by load. Converter can only set a limit on output current. Assume preset value is 2 amps, but load need 1A or less. Actual output is just 1A or less.

Only when load want to draw over 2 amps, output will be limited to 2 amps. It is not alwayas be 2A. Does it meet your application?

Red: Power Supply +,(3.0~ 30V DC)
White: Measure Voltage +,0~ 100V DC)
Black: Power Supply -, Measure Voltage –

If measuring voltage is over 30v, please connect separate working voltage source for meter.
