    Sorry for missing your response.

    The above item 090841you found can work with DC7-30V voltage, is it not suitale?  Other meters need to work with 5v power supply.

    The working consumption for meter is only around 6 mA.  Besides percentage, did you check voltage change？And is there other item connected to battery?

    You can trigger relay with signal or with no need for signal.

    The meter you order from Amazon is do 0-20mA range. But the seller for this order is Amazon company, we are not sure if it wrong shipment.   Would you like to contact Amazon customer service for replacement?

    And w suggest that just connect another power supply, and then check output voltage. That should be the fast way to check if it is normal.
