    If you want to step down voltage from 12v to 5V, the item(091013) you mention previously should be suitable. But it has better use it within 4.5A.

    Would you please tell us more details about your operation? For example, the load.
    Do you mean voltage boosting only can works when input voltage is over 9Vdc?
    Have you selected 8-16v input voltage by adjusting the jumper on the back of the PCB?
