    As you have said that “without adding any switching noise either up or down the power lines”, does the power supply will always provide 12V steady DC power or does the voltage will go down even lower than 9V?

    Hello Chad,
    Yes, this product can be applied without isolated power supply.
    You can connect the power supply+ (red wire) and the measure+(yellow wire) to the positive side of the power supply and the black wire is connected to the negative side of the power supply.
    Measure voltage: DC 0-30.000V
    Power Supply: DC 5-30V
