Without load, there is no output current. And  converter can’t increase current, what it do is to set a limit on output current.

Assume load draws 2A, you can limit output current to 1A or lower , but it is impossible to  increase load current to over 2A.

#200219 is 100A meter. If need to meausre small current, there may be larger error.

And screen will turn of when the load current is around 0.3A.
