    Is it 200150 item? Could you please tell us  the input voltage/current to it and the output setting?   We wonder if input power is not enough.

    And regarding current adjustment, actual output current is mainly decided by load.  When you set 5A, it doesn’t mean output is 5A.  5A preset value is the max output it allows.

    Meter only show”1″ if it is over 100A. It is not suitable to under over current for long time.

    And shunt should match meter range. Or there will be  measurement error.

    Actually the input voltage range we mean is for voltage converter input. But it seems you need a converter from 12v to 12v.

    If it is that case, we are sorry we don’t have such converter. If input for converter is 12v, output voltage should be higher or lower than input.

    Most of our meters only read one current direction. If you need to measure  two current directions,   here are two items, you can check if they can work for your application.

    Thanks for writing in.

    According to your information, it should be  180080

    Could you please tell us how large the input voltage is? Default output setting is around 20v. If input voltage is lower than preset value, a few turns is not enough.

    Please keep turning potentiometer anticlockwise over 10 circles or more until output voltage changes.

    As per your description, we think it should be this item. 200141

    Please kindly hook it up according to wiring diagram. Shunt is used for measuring current. All of wires can’t be disconnected. If wiring is not correct, meter can’t measure current or may burn out.
