    Thank you for writing in and we are sorry for delayed reply.
    The CC ov CV setting is in terms of your load.
    For example, we can set the output voltage and current as 5V 1A. If your load current is less than 1A, then the model will be in CV. When the load current is larger than 1A, it will be in CC.
    So you need to adjust model on base of the load you connect.

    There is no exact demand of the cable length and cable thickness, which is depend on the power supply and the load in your application.
    For the cable length, it is recommended that the length is within 1 meter.
    If the length is too long, the measuring result of current may be not accurate.
