    Hello Kai,
Thank you for your quick reply and valuable suggestion.
The function of the two resistors is adjusting the output voltage.
If you need to adjust the voltage, you need to adjust the fixed resistor.
The ratio of the two resistors is the value of the output voltage which is mentioned in the image we sent to you before.
You can also use a adjustable potentiometer to adjust the voltage.
Please remove the original resistor and weld the pins of a adjustable resistor to the pins of the original resistors.
Please note that the value of the adjustable resistor should be higher than the two original resistors(R1:88K, R2:12K).
    Hope this can help you.

    Hello Jerry,
    Thank you for writing in.
Please check the attach image, you can adjust the light sensitivity by adjusting the potentiometer which is marked by yellow circle.

Theoretically, you can use one of this product and one of DEOK DC 5-12V Light Control Sensor Switch Day On Night Off Automatic Adjustable to trigger the motor (the motor should have positive and negative poles).
However, this product is not really suitable for this application. If work at the same time, the motor may be burnt.
    Hope this can help you.
    Best regards
